  • Scottsdale Greenbelt – 100 steps out our front door, connects 11 miles of trails along the golf courses and lakes.  Views of Camelback Mountain most of the way!
  • OdySea Aquarium – 2.2 miles
  • Butterfly Garden – 2.3 miles
  • Salt River Baseball Fields at Talking Stick (Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks Spring Training) – 2.7 miles
  • Talking Stick Resort, Casino, and Golf Club (2 courses) – 3 miles
  • Downtown Scottsdale and Old Town – 4+ miles depending on destination
  • Scottsdale Stadium (San Francisco Giants Spring Training) – 4.9 miles
  • Hike Camelback Mountain for incredible views of the valley (challenging!):
    Cholla Trailhead – 5 miles
    Echo Canyon Trailhead at the Recreation area – 6 miles
  • Hike McDowell Sonoran Preserve trailhead – 9 miles

  • the closest grocery store is an Albertson’s which I’m not crazy about but it’s less than a mile, and 2 minutes away at Hayden & Indian Bend (.8 mile, one major intersection south on Hayden)
  • Basha’s is only 2 major intersections south, 2.5 miles total, go south on Hayden and turn left on McDonald: 8423 E McDonald Dr, Scottsdale, AZ 85250
  • Trader Joe’s seems closer by its 2.3 miles, but it’s busy on Scottsdale Rd and lots more lights and traffic: 6202 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85253
  • Safeway is at 7920 E Chaparral Rd, 85250 exactly 2.8 miles south on Hayden, will be on your right at Chaparral intersection
  • Walmart SuperCenter, full groceries 3.9 miles at 4915 N Pima Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251
  • At the Pavillions Talking Stick Way (2 miles) on Indian Bend heading east toward the 101, you’ll find a Target with groceries, Starbucks, Arby’s, McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts, Home Depot, Hobby Lobby, Hooters and Buffalo Wild Wings, movie theatre, Mountainside Fitness, Red Robin, and much more – see the full list here:
